The Most Famous Bonsai Ever

The most famous Bonsai Ever might not be the oldest bonsai ever, but is a combination of trees that make a Forest created by John Naka in California. Naka named the awesome bonsai forest the "Goshin" which means protector of the spirit in Japanese.
Naka started making this bonsai when he was young in 1948, and culminated his creation in the 1970's, he then donated it to the National Bonsai Foundation in 1984 and it is now displayed at the US National Arboretum in Washington DC. The image below shows John Naka with his creation in the 1990's when he was much older. This bonsai is extremely impressive, and a necessity to look at when one visits the Washington DC area.
